Keep every deal moving. Close it together.

PontemVelo is the core of Pontem Sales: it keeps pipeline and deals moving at pace, and shows managers where momentum is slipping. PontemClient is the shared plan you build with the buyer when a deal gets serious.

Already have a CRM? A CRM records where a deal was last time someone typed. PontemVelo runs the route a deal follows and shows how fast it is moving. How Pontem differs from a CRM →
PONTEMVELO Lead product

Deal velocity, for reps and managers.

Deals rarely die in one moment. They slow down: an account that sits in research, a follow-up that slips, a close date that keeps moving. PontemVelo gives reps a five-stage route from research to a qualified meeting, repeating targets to log against, and gives managers the numbers and the coaching documents to keep everything moving.

Reporting that shows managers what leads to a close.

Reps keep the plan current as they work. Managers get the numbers that come out of it: how each step is trending, which steps tend to come before a win, and how each deal is tracking against the date the rep expected it to close.

Put a quantity on any step, such as two meetings this week, and the rep enters the real number. Three against a target of two shows up as three. Repeating weekly targets are scored period by period.

Anticipated close date against what happened

Each deal carries its client, industry, size and anticipated close date. Reports compare that date with the actual close, show how often dates get pushed back, and flag deals due to close with the plan behind.

  • Deal details on every planClient name, industry, deal size, anticipated close date and outcome, with a reason when a deal is lost.
  • A basic buyer personaName, title, role in the decision, what they care about, concerns and how they like to communicate. It is for your team only.
  • Internal by designDeal details, personas and quantities are never part of a buyer link. The buyer sees the shared plan and nothing else.
  • Win and conversion ratesBreak results down by industry, deal size and the buyer's role, see the reasons deals were lost, and see what each person has finished and logged.
  • For managers and ownersReports are visible to owners and admins. Download the deal list as a spreadsheet any time.
  • Gets sharper with useThe numbers draw on your own closed deals, so they become more useful as more deals are marked won or lost.

Bring your existing deals with you.

Start with the deals you already have. Type them in, paste them from a spreadsheet, or upload the Excel or CSV report from whatever CRM you use. Managers can import for the whole team. All Pontem Sales needs is the deal name, close date, deal size, and the buyer's name and email.

open-opportunities.xlsxOpportunities · 42 rows

1. Upload or paste

Drop in the report you already run, or copy rows from Excel and paste them into the table. Title rows above the headings and hidden sheets are handled.

2. Check the match

Columns are matched by their headings, and you can change any of them. Dates and amounts are read in the formats CRMs export, including month-first or day-first dates.

3. Review, then import

See what will happen to every row before anything is created. Rows with a problem are skipped with the reason, and deals you already have are not added twice.

  • For reps and managersAnyone can import their own deals. Managers can also include an owner email column to assign deals to the right rep.
  • Plans ready to goEach deal becomes a PontemClient plan, or a PontemVelo route, with your standard steps. The close date and deal size feed your reports from day one.
  • Buyer details stay privateThe buyer's name and email fill in the buyer persona and prefill the share link. Nothing is visible to the buyer until you share a link, and an import never sends an email.

Check the numbers against what really happened.

Reps log their activity: 50 cold emails, 4 meetings booked. Link a rep's Microsoft 365 email and calendar and Pontem Sales shows what the mailbox and calendar can confirm. The difference becomes a validation score, and a question for the next 1 on 1.

Ask: You logged 24 meetings and the calendar shows 9. Walk me through what was counted. Is some of it done on a channel the calendar would not show?

Logged against seen

Targets measured in emails or meetings are compared with the linked mailbox and calendar. The score is capped at 100%, so doing more than you logged never counts against you, and small numbers are not scored at all.

Meetings are matched to the deal by the buyer email you saved, and show up in the deal itself.

Invited, accepted, booked

See who was invited to each meeting and whether they said yes. A rep who books six meetings and has one acceptance is worth a conversation.

  • Read only, counts onlyPontem Sales reads when mail was sent, to whom, and calendar invitations. It never reads subjects, message text, attachments, or calendar titles and notes, and it can't send or change anything.
  • Set it up once, two waysEach rep can link their own account on Microsoft's sign-in page, once, with nothing to repeat. Or a Microsoft 365 administrator approves it once for the whole company and an owner or admin picks which reps it covers, so nobody has to do anything. Reps always see their own figures, and a rep on the company link is told that it is linked.
  • A question, not a verdictMail sent from a sequencing tool, a phone or LinkedIn won't appear, and "cold" is an estimate, so the check is built to start a conversation. It works with Microsoft 365 (Outlook) today. The company-wide option needs your IT team to restrict the app to the chosen mailboxes, and your team to know about it.
  • Part of the coaching documentsThe check appears in the Rep Synopsis and the 1 on 1 prep, including scheduled ones.

Figures shown above are examples, not customer results.

Walk into every 1 on 1 already prepared.

For each rep, a manager gets a Rep Synopsis, an honest read on their numbers against the team, and a 1 on 1 prep document with the deals to talk about and the questions to ask. Nobody builds a spreadsheet the night before. Set a cadence and the briefs are waiting for you.

  • Rules first, AI for the wordingEvery figure is calculated from your plans. When the AI writer is switched on it improves the wording and the questions. It never produces the numbers, and every document says which one wrote it.
  • What the AI seesFigures, deal names and step names for the rep being reviewed. Buyer persona notes are never sent, and buyers never see any of this.
  • Fair to small samplesWith only a few closed deals, comparisons are held back and the document says so, rather than drawing a conclusion from noise.
  • Aggregate and individualSee the whole team, then pick any rep to see their numbers against it. Team context is built into every 1 on 1.

PONTEMCLIENT Works alongside PontemVelo

When a deal is real, bring the buyer into the plan.

Deals that PontemVelo qualifies graduate into PontemClient: a shared plan both sides can see and edit, from first call through go-live. It starts from a library of 150 milestones, so the plan is built on day one.

150 milestones, ready on day one.

Every plan starts from a built-in library of stages and sub-milestones drawn from real B2B deals. Pick what fits, and the plan is built out of the box. Nothing to configure, no blank page to stare at.
